RECYCLED POLYESTER

Currently, recycled polyester is mainly produced from the recycling of PET plastic, such as plastic bottles.

Every time you deposit a plastic bottle in the recycling bin, it is taken to a waste sorting and sorting unit. There, the different types of plastic are separated to give them a better destination. PET plastic is cleaned, shredded and recycled into new recycled polyester fiber, among other products.

In this way, we were able to give new life to plastic waste and reduce the consumption of virgin raw materials.

CARE FOR WATER

These garments were produced using technologies that reduce water consumption in their production processes.

The processes of dyeing or washing clothes are the ones that require more water consumption. The use of closed cycles that allow the reuse of water or technologies such as low bath ratio machines or mass dyeing, which reduce water consumption in these processes, helps us to preserve freshwater resources.

CERTIFICATIONS

This product was manufactured following the Join Life standard of the Inditex Group. Created in 2015 as a tool to unify criteria, it is defined based on several aspects, such as impact analysis based on the Life Cycle Assesment (LCA) methodology, initiatives that promote practices with less impact or materials certified by specialized external companies.

From its creation, we work continuously to improve it.
